Ishitori

February 9th, 2010

‘Ishitori’ adalah seorang sahabat yang dalam khayalan..

‘Ishitori’ is defined as a friend from the dreamworld, one that never existed in this world of reality. I believed in her words, of that day, when she said to me “I have been long awating for you..” The picture you see in the background is Ishitori in real person, she existed there within the picture, as if on the edge, wanting just to stand over there. Whenever I was alone, I felt Ishitori was very near by my side, sitting or even talking back at me. I sometimes smiled thinking of her. She is nowhere, and everywhere. She is someone very important to me, an illusion made from my dreams, from my memories. Ishitori never will exists in this life, and one day she will disappear from me. Understanding Ishitori is like understanding myself, she was born from my thoughts, and one that exists must one day die. I hope you can help me, once Ishitori is gone, I can finally smile again :) She is always there with me, when I feel lonely.. as a friend. In Islam, Ishitori is my own shadow, and I have fallen in love with her long before time have begun.

Bachelor Pizza Making

June 30th, 2009

Again, this is designed to work only on male bachelors out there, who have an electric/gas oven at home at their dispense, and I tell ya, it will work 100%!! Great!!

Requirements
Just to get things straight at first, there are a few basic needs we need to have before making a pizza. First is that, you may indeed find it hard to make it yourself, and yes it is hard for new timers. You will experience playing around with dough, mixing it well, and get your hands dirty, both of it.

Right, after the requirements is met, lets look at how to make the dough.

ACT I – THE DOUGH

First of all we need the ingredients,

  • 4 cups of general flour which easily cost around RM 3 a packet, we need only 4 cups (not too big)
  • 1 pack of yeast, yellow color packet don’t forget
  • 2-3 tb.spn of cooking oil or olive oil
  • 1 glass of warm water, leave it for 10-15 minutes after boiling before pouring it into the mixture
  • 1 tb.spn of sugar and salt (this is for the taste part, so don’t ever skip it)
  • Okay ready?, put them all into a mixing bowl, either made out of metal or plastic, make sure it is big enough for your hands to be placed inside. Put everything which is dry first, mix it with your hands.. 5 seconds is enough.. then put in water, slowly in sections. Say like 10% and onwards. Just when you are mixing it together, you will feel it is trying to mold it up by itself, see that is how a dough is made.

You should be done in 10 minutes. Make a perfect round sphere shape of it, and place it to cool down.

    ACT II – The toppings

Cooking the ingredients should be a must in this section, so ready a cooking pot around 5-7 inch diameter (which is rather small), for the cooking process. Ok first do not fire it up or anything, just leave it on the stove. Then start off which these ingredients below.

    The Toppings, ingredients

5-6 cylinder of sausages, cut into pieces
A bunch of mushrooms, depends of how much you like, cut them in 3 pieces or half.

    BLEND LIST
    3 fresh tomatoes
1 carrot (if you like them)
    1 onion (big one)
2 garlic (the small piece one)
    1/2 can of Tomato purry
1 spoon of salt and sugar
    1 pinch of Ajinomoto
*note 1 – This list is a temporary topping list, if you have other things in your kitchen, sure add them in.

    * note, on the blend list, just blend everything well. And pour them into the pot, which is on the stove. You may want to preheat some cooking oil on the pot before putting this blend into it for cooking. Then fire up, on low fire, and wait for the aroma. Then put in the cut toppings, the mushrooms and sausages. Cook for 10 minutes. Then let it cool down for 5 minutes.

ACT 3 – Bachelor Pizza The Making

Make the dough into a round shaped, roll it down with a cylinder wood, until it is nicely done. Place it into the metal / aluminum serving plate and put the dough nicely, you may want to roll the ends, so it look like Pizza Hut’s pizza. Put the cooked toppings into the middle and spread it nicely, you may indeed have excessive dough and toppings, so you could make the 2nd pizza too. At the time of my making, I was able to make 4 pizzas, because the serving plate is small in size. Ok, what is done is done. Time for..

Wait, I forget something, YES! Cheese!! put them all as much as you want! ROFL!

    THE OVEN!!
Never ever $%# up with the timing and heating procedures, ok here it goes
    1. Preheat for 10 minutes, for 260 degree Celsius
    2. Put in the pizza(s) into the oven
    3. Cook for 10 minutes, for 260 degree Celsius
    4. if you have additional pizza, don’t need to reheat, just put them in for 10 minutes.

    WARNING
OKAY WAIT, don’t get any ideas. NEVER ever exceed 10 minutes of cooking time, or the dough will burn, and turn black.

And it is done! Have a good day! :D

    Bachelor Blackpepper Chicken

    July 7th, 2008

    blackpepper chicken

    *image is for reference only*

    Minimum Requirements:

    1 Male bachelor
    1 Living with parents
1 Still looking for a Job / still studying

    Cooking Recepie
    1. 2/8 tbsp Salt (Garam)
    2. 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce (Kicap halal)
    3. 1/4 tbsp Baking powder
    4. 2 tbsp Corn Flour (Tepung Jagung)
    5. 1/4 tbsp Pepper / Black pepper
    6. 2-4 tbsp Black pepper sauce (pre-made)
    7. 1/2 half Chicken servings, or cut well
    8. 1 Onion diced well (1 Bawang, dipotong halus)
    *tbsp – Tablespoon

    How to cook?
First, heat up the cooking oil, until it is mild hot. Mixed all chicken with with salt, soy sauce, baking powder and corn flour in a single bowl. Mix it well for 10mins. Then cut the onion well, separately. Cook the chicken mixed first, until it is 90% cooked, you can check by the soft chicken texture. Place in the onions, until it smelled nice. Finally, close the fire and take off some of the oil residue if the oil is too much. Place the black pepper chicken sauce in, and fire up the stove for a few short minutes. If you like to place some vegetables, put them in as well, close up the stove and let it cook for a minute or two. Serve and digg in with the dudes.

Overcooking is bad, especially when the onions are over fried. Try to use small fire when placing in the onions. Good luck!
